  2. In response to Tony Strong’s inquiry: The full series of Uncle Mose episodes is not available. For one thing, many scripts have been lost, while others are so topical that they are of little general interest today. My collection of the text of the stories – The Chronicles of Uncle Mose (Flanker Press, 2006) – is by far the largest number of the tales gathered into one publication. It contains 75. Several of the original radio stories have been released in a 3-CD set, produced by Kelly Russsell of Pigeon Inlet Productions.

  3. Is there anywhere I can purchase a complete DVD set of the Pigeon Inlet series that aired on CBC TV?

  4. Just heard about this outstanding project on VOCM.
I must say I am absolutely delirious with anticipation of the next time I will get home to be able to actually live the experience.

Sounds liek a really good business plan and model you have worked up for your venture what with using the Anne of Green gables model from PEI. AGG got to be so popular mostly from tv though so a reproduction of the original yarns would go along way towards promotion. I know I would buy a copy of either the skits or radio broadcasts. If not for myself to let my kids actually hear a piece of their culture.

I’m just so jealous of all of those who will get a chance to experience a piece of our history.

The best I can get is this poor quality clip on Youtube.

  5. I for one dont want to listen to pigeon inlet, i want to watch it, i still have one casette but the quality is poor, i would love to see some DVD releases and have written the CBC to try to get the ball rolling.

  6. You will be able to see and participate in Pigeon Inlet live in Bay Roberts! Plans are underway to make the “Time in Pigeon Inlet” even better than last summer’s sold out versions. Keep checking the website for announcements of upcoming dates.
